What stays local

Your selected PDF is handled in this browser session. BQ PDF Tools does not add your document to the offline cache or upload it to an application server.

What this tool preserves

  • Changes are applied to a new PDF copy.
  • The page preview helps catch placement issues.
  • Warnings explain when signatures or hidden content may be affected.

What to check

Visible additions are not secure redaction or legally binding signatures. Review the result before sharing.

What this tool does

The tool embeds original PDF pages into a configurable grid on A4 or US Letter sheets. Content stays vector-based whenever the source page supports it.

Privacy note: selected files are handled by JavaScript running on your device. The application does not intentionally transfer document contents to a BQ server. Browser extensions, managed-device policies, and the browser itself remain outside the site’s control.

Compatibility note: PDF is a complex format. Very large, encrypted, malformed, digitally signed, or unusually constructed files may not process correctly. Keep the original document until you have checked the result.

Frequently asked questions

Does N-up convert pages into images?

No. Original PDF pages are embedded into the output sheet, which normally preserves vector text and graphics.

What happens to incomplete final sheets?

Unused cells on the final sheet remain blank.

Can I add page borders?

Yes. Enable cell borders to make each source-page area easier to see when printed.
