What stays local

Your selected PDF is handled in this browser session. BQ PDF Tools does not add your document to the offline cache or upload it to an application server.

What this tool preserves

  • Original page content is copied without screenshot conversion when possible.
  • The original file is never changed.
  • Page order and selection are visible before download.

What to check

Encrypted, damaged, very large, or unusually structured PDFs may fail. Keep the original until the output is checked.

Practical examples

Example 1

Fix a scan where page 3 appears before page 2.

Example 2

Remove blank pages before emailing a document.

Example 3

Extract only the signed pages from a larger packet.

How to alternate and mix pdf pages

Step 1

Choose exactly two PDF files and arrange them as Document A and Document B.

Step 2

Choose the starting document and reverse Document B when rebuilding duplex scans.

Step 3

Mix the pages and preview the combined PDF.

What this tool does

Document A and Document B can be mixed A1, B1, A2, B2 or in the opposite starting order. Reverse Document B to rebuild a duplex scan made in two passes.

Privacy note: selected files are handled by JavaScript running on your device. The application does not intentionally transfer document contents to a BQ server. Browser extensions, managed-device policies, and the browser itself remain outside the site’s control.

Compatibility note: PDF is a complex format. Very large, encrypted, malformed, digitally signed, or unusually constructed files may not process correctly. Keep the original document until you have checked the result.

Frequently asked questions

When should I reverse Document B?

Reverse it when the second scan pass contains the back sides in reverse order, which is common with manual duplex scanning.

What if the PDFs have different page counts?

You can append remaining pages or stop after the shorter document ends.

Can I change which PDF contributes the first page?

Yes. Choose Document A or Document B as the starting source.
