How to create booklet pdf

Step 2

Select left-edge or right-edge binding and print spacing.

Step 3

Create the booklet PDF, print double-sided, and test with a short sample first.

What this tool does

The tool pads the document to a multiple of four pages, calculates booklet page order, and places two source pages on each sheet side. Print the result double-sided and fold the stack after checking printer settings.

Privacy note: selected files are handled by JavaScript running on your device. The application does not intentionally transfer document contents to a BQ server. Browser extensions, managed-device policies, and the browser itself remain outside the site’s control.

Compatibility note: PDF is a complex format. Very large, encrypted, malformed, digitally signed, or unusually constructed files may not process correctly. Keep the original document until you have checked the result.

Frequently asked questions

Why are blank pages sometimes added?

A folded booklet requires a page count divisible by four, so blank slots are added when needed.

Which duplex setting should I use?

Printer behaviour differs. Landscape booklet sheets commonly use short-edge flipping, but always test a few pages first.

Does this create printer crop marks?

No. It creates imposed two-page sheet sides with optional cell borders.
